This is a helium release valve.
- Helium Release Valve: The additional crown at the 10 o'clock position is a specialized feature for saturated diving.
- During deep-sea dives, helium from the breathing mixture can enter the watch.
- When the diver ascends and the pressure decreases, the helium expands inside the watch.
- The valve acts as an escape mechanism, allowing the built-up helium to be released, preventing the crystal from being pushed off or the watch from being damaged.
